The “No” Won, Colombia Lost: Four Years Since the Signing of the Peace Agreement
On 24 November 2016 the Final Peace Agreement Between the Colombian government and the former FARC-EP guerrillas was signed in Bogotá.
Four years after the signing of that agreement, the Political Studies and International Relations Institute (IEPRI) of the National University of Colombia, and Rodeemos el Diálogo (ReD) invite you to this dialogue and book launch of ‘The “No” Won, Colombia Lost: Four Years Since the Signing of the Peace Agreement’.
This dialogue will make available some of the key reflections of the book (published in Spanish) to an international audience. We will discuss why Colombians rejected the Peace Agreement in the 2016 plebiscite and the consequences of that vote for the present and future of peace in Colombia.
