The Total Peace Snapshots (TSP) carefully follow the progress of the government’s ‘Total Peace’ policy. TPS seek to inform, explain and better understand the complex realities underpinning the government’s approach to making and building peace in the current critical juncture.

TRUTH COMMISSION

The Truth Commission team supports the Colombian Truth Commission’s work pedagogically, through publishing monthly snapshots of the work of the Commission and facilitating ‘non-workshops’ to engage participants with transitional justice processes in Colombia. We also facilitate the participation of the Colombian diaspora in truth-seeking efforts and work to prepare society to receive the Truth Commission’s final report.

The UBPD team promotes discussion on disappearance in Colombia and actions that have contributed to the current situation. We seek to account for the complexity of this phenomenon that pervades all of society. Forced disappearance is a phenomenon that affects everyone, in different ways, not only those who have suffered disappearance in their inner circles. It poses challenging questions to all of society.
