Critical Dialogues on Reconciliation:Neuroscience and Reconciliation
We invite you to the twelfth Critical Dialogue on Reconciliation. We will think together about the new opportunities that neuroscience brings for reconciliation research and practice.
This event is part of a series of online dialogues organised by the Centre of Religion, Reconciliation and Peace (University of Winchester), Embrace Dialogue (Rodeemos el Diálogo, ReD), and OxPeace (Oxford Network of Peace Studies), which seek to prompt a multicultural, interdisciplinary, global dialogue about reconciliation.
What to expect: While there will be a special guest sharing their expertise on the topic, this event is a dialogue, and all participants are invited and encouraged to share their reflections or experiences as we think together. There is no need to prepare for the topic ahead of the event.
We will continue inviting practitioners, academics, and decision-makers to share their research, policies, and activities around reconciliation processes. This is a critical issue today, and a critical approach is needed to address the legacies of long-lasting divisions within and between societies around the world.
Special guest: Colette Rausch (Director of Neuroscience, Trauma and Peacebuilding at the Mary Hoch Foundation; convener ThinkPeace Learning Support Hub)
Convener: Andrei Gomez-Suarez, (Senior Research Fellow, Centre of Religion Reconciliation and Peace, University of Winchester, Co-founder of Embrace Dialogue, and member of the OxPeace Steering Committee)

Time: 16:00 UK / 11:00 COL
